La Rejana yoga retreat is a small, family run centre in southern Spain. Located in a charming, private old cortijo between the ancient towns of Frigiliana and Torrox, famous for having the "best climate in Europe". La Rejana overlooks the mountains of Sierra Almijara and the Mediterranean Sea. These beautiful, tranquil surroundings provide the perfect setting for yoga practice, relaxation and the exploration of nature.
Mirka and Michael give a very warm welcome to their guests. Their combination of outstanding hospitality and excellent yoga makes this a unique holiday experience. Each retreat has a maximum of 8 students giving you the advantage of plenty of attention from the resident teacher. Mirka is an experienced and dedicated teacher who will encourage you to develop your own level of yoga practice with confidence. Care and attention to detail is also paramount in Michael's culinary expertise. Delicious vegetarian meals are prepared using the best locally sourced ingredients and served in the garden patio, with spectacular mountain views.
Yoga classes are planned in order to energize and restore. The program includes balancing, health enhancing sequences to improve vitality and circulation throughout the body whilst restoring mental clarity. The practice increases self awareness and deeper integration of body and mind.
